| so...4 days until i leave for outwest! i just got back from philly on saturday and that was a blast! it was another mission trip with some kids from youth group, but a completly different experience from mexico...it rocked! and to everyone who mocks me because i dont have a job ( besides the occasional babysitting) i do now, at hope and i start tonite! $7 an hour oh yea! but there is a major downside you see tonite is national night out which = block party and since i have to work from 6-9 i miss the majority of it. i mean we are talking fire trucks, hummers, pop corn the whole shabang and i have to work...ehhhh ok it sounds like its for little kids but we havent had one of these things in so long and hopefully itll still be going on when i get back
yesturday was quite possibly one of the sweetest beach days hot day hot water big waves...then i saw john tucker must die...with barber, kevin, jimmy, and allen (they were a few of the only guys  then we went back to allens where jake met us and we swam and played go fish and poker...i sat out on poker but go fish rocked!

| i am so excited! i am now officially going out west in august to go on a hiking trip with dave suze lauren lindsay and katie! we are going to go hiking in the grand canyon and zion and at bryce....it is going to be the sweetest trip this summer and a great thing to do before i head off to college...
so i went to grand haven yesturday for the 4th and it was a bunch of fun except it was really hard to just lay out and get tan because it was kind of windy so all the sand would blow into you when you were laying down. we staying out there for the fireworks which were the best fireworks i think ive probably ever seen. i love the huge ones that you can feel boom! after the fireworks we all ran back to our cars and drove back to barbers to light off some of jeffs fireworks. im partially surprised no one got killed but i really enjoyed it anyway. |

| yeah for pictures!! i love pictures! well these are a few pictures that i took in mexico on the mission trip...did i mention that i had a bunch of fun...but we did do work too i promise...it just dosent look like it!

| hey!! so im back from mexico...i actually got back friday or saturday actually at like 1 am. it was such a long day i had about a 6 hour layover in atlanta. about the trip? amazing i loved it i had so much fun and i actually loved doing the work. i have pictures but they are getting developed ill show them later. there are so many stories and memories and people i met...i wasnt sure about going at first but not i wouldnt have missed it for the world! |

| yup! so i leave for mexico tomorrow at 5:00 am well thats when i have to be at the airport anyway...ive kind of started packing just laying out clothes and stuff but i suppose thats not techniclly packing oh well. im going to a couple open houses today then a bunch of us are heading out to the beach and since its actually hot out today i think we might stay later...so maybe ill just pull an all nighter...stay late at the beach then come home and finish packing and leave for the airport! sounds like a super idea to me! oh yea and i get back on friday night! |
